This event is designed to recognize and celebrate the lives of Black femmes/women on Duke's campus. We invite attendees to consider: What does it mean to be a women and/or femme? What does it mean to be Black? What does it mean to be a Black women/femme on this campus, in this space, and in the world today? With this event, we hope to create space for female identifying Black students to build a safe, educated, and supportive community.
