We will be hosting a mental health advocacy concert for NeuroCare benefitting Threshold, a local Durham nonprofit to improve the quality of life for people in Durham living with serious mental illnesses. At our event, we will have an open mic night centered around a theme on mental health, along with a performance by Spellling. The event will be free to access, and attendees will have the opportunity to purchase arts and crafts from members of Threshold, buy food of which all the proceeds will be forwarded to Threshold, and also donate directly to this incredible organization. We will be collaborating with Synapse, another Duke organization advocating for mental health in Durham, in order to make this event a possibility.
