About Us

The mission of the Duke University Bangladesh Society is to represent Bengali culture at Duke University and support Duke students and staff of Bengali heritage. The organization seeks to accomplish this mission by: • Providing a space for those affiliated with or interested in the Bengali culture to meet other members of the community and celebrate language, customs, and history. • Promoting awareness and appreciation of Bengali people in the Duke University community by celebrating various social and cultural activities. • Generating opportunities and partnerships for improving its members' experience at Duke.
