About Us

The purpose and mission of the Duke Sikh Society is to promote education and awareness of the Sikh religion, culture, history, and heritage on Duke's campus, create a welcoming and inclusive space for Sikh students to connect with others who share similar religious and cultural backgrounds. We carry out this mission by organizing religious, social, and cultural activities, including but not limited to discussions, workshops, celebrations, community service projects, and guest lectures, to further the understanding and appreciation of the Sikh faith and open interfaith dialogues on campus.
