About Us
The mission of Duke Medical Ethics Journal (DMEJ) is to increase the public knowledge of current issues in medical ethics not only within the Duke community but also beyond. DMEJ will seek to accomplish this mission by holding bi-weekly body meetings, publishing a print and online publication once a year in conjunction with a speaker event featuring an expert in the field of medical ethics, and sharing articles and short blurbs describing recent medical advancements and the implications such advancements have for the clinical setting. In addition to publishing articles written by students, we will also be conducting interviews with Duke faculty members that are experts on the topic of medical ethics. Our goal is that each new issue of the journal will explore a different theme of the fundamentals of medical ethics.
