Duke International Security Conference

Our program is a student group at Duke University that seeks to provide a rich understanding of global affairs by hosting an annual collegiate Model UN conference where students from premier American universities come to compete and engage in productive debate. We traditionally host between 80 to 100 students, and we would love to give those students the opportunity to compete at Duke University and get an idea of what the Blue Devil experience is like.

Our conference will be three days and two nights, starting late Friday afternoon and ending early Sunday morning. Currently, we're looking to host it from February 3rd to February 5th in 2023. We will be hosting both day and evening events: delegate socials, opening and closing ceremonies, and of course the actual committees that delve into current affairs in a format that models the procedures of the legitimate United Nations.
